Berkeley Law, the law school at the University of California at Berkeley, is now accepting registrations for Venture Capital Deal Camp, which will be held Aug. 27-30 on campus. The four-day program will focus in on the nuts and bolts of deal-making for those involved in the VC investments, and it is aimed at those who want to improve their ability to define, negotiate and execute early-stage investments to maximize returns.

Expert speakers who have committed to date include Semyon Dukach, Managing Partner of One Way Ventures and former Managing Director of TechStars, Scott Kupor, Managing Partner of Andreessen Horowitz, and Cheryl Cheng, General Partner of BlueRun Ventures.

“Participants will walk away with a certificate from UC Berkeley Law, a new network of contacts, and the knowledge and confidence needed to make better investments,” said Adam Sterling, Executive Director, Berkeley Center for Law and Business at Berkeley Law. “It’s perfect for angel investors, VCs, fund managers and attorneys looking to improve their ability to source, negotiate, and close early stage investments.”
