Traliant Announces New VP of Business Development Kristin Hassan

Hassan brings more than 20 years’ of experience in strategy and business development to her new position.

Traliant, an innovator in online compliance training for the modern workforce, today announced the appointment of Kristin Hassan as the company’s new Vice President of Business Development. Hassan, the former Executive Director of New York City SHRM, will be responsible for creating new business partnerships and expanding the company’s reach into new sectors and markets. In her former role, Hassan saw Traliant taking the sexual harassment training market by storm and was inspired to join the team.

“Kristin is a fantastic addition to our team and brings a deep understanding of the needs of HR professionals and the organizations they support,” said Mike Pallatta, CEO and Co-Founder of Traliant. “Her expertise in working across industries will help us strengthen our relationships with existing customers and cultivate new partnerships to drive our business growth.”

Hassan brings more than 20 years’ of experience in strategy and business development to her new position. Before joining Traliant, she served for six years as Executive Director of New York City SHRM, where she significantly grew the HR association’s membership. In 2016, she earned the “Dedicated Partnership Award” for her work on behalf of New York City SHRM’s members and business partners. Prior, Hassan worked with a variety of associations, including BioNJ, CREW NJ, NJ Soybean Association and the NJ Builders.

“This is an exciting time to join Traliant and be a part of helping organizations foster a positive workplace culture,” Hassan said. “I’m enthusiastic about exploring new business opportunities and nurturing Traliant’s strong bonds with its current customers.”

Traliant believes that effective compliance training must be relevant to today’s diverse workforce and motivate employees to act ethically when confronting workplace issues such as sexual harassment, discrimination and retaliation. Rather than only focusing on laws and rules, Traliant courses feature a series of interactive, bite-sized video episodes that let learners view and choose alternate endings, which boosts engagement and promotes positive behavior.
