Carrie N. Heieck, Esq.

Carrie has been practicing law for fourteen years – primarily representing corporate and institutional clients in areas including corporate formation, contracts, and real estate issues.

Tinnelly Law Group, PC, one of the top California HOA law firms, is proud to announce the addition of attorney Carrie N. Heieck, Esq. to the firm.

Ms. Heieck received her undergraduate degree from the University of Arizona, where she majored in Communication and served as the editor for her sorority’s magazine. She went on to earn her Juris Doctorate from Whitter College of Law, graduating Magna Cum Laude and serving as an editor for the Journal of Child & Family Advocacy, which published her article, Ashcroft v. ACLU: Protecting Our Children from Harmful Online Material Without Infringing Upon First Amendment Rights, 4 Whittier J. Child & Fam. Advoc. 95 (2004). In law school, Carrie was the recipient of a full academic merit scholarship, served as a teaching assistant, and received CALI awards in Real Property I, Remedies, Legal Skills, and Constitutional Law.

Carrie has been practicing law for fourteen years – primarily representing corporate and institutional clients in areas including corporate formation, contracts, and real estate issues. It was by chance that she began representing several homeowner associations through word of mouth and discovered a niche of the law that she loves. For the last four years, she has practiced solely in the area of HOA law and would not have it any other way. While her forte is educating and counseling her association clients on community association law compliance, the interpretation and drafting of governing documents, and how to best avoid litigation, Carrie is also a seasoned litigator who was counsel for the prevailing party in the published mortgage and banking appellate case, Calvo v. HSBC Bank USA, N.A. (2011) 199 Cal. App. 4th 118.

"Carrie is precisely the type of leader our firm's culture is built around," says Steven J. Tinnelly, Managing Partner. "Her dedication, enthusiasm for her work, and her deep care for her clients' interests are infectious. We are thrilled to have her spearhead our new Carlsbad office and we know she will add tremendous value to our growing family of San Diego area clients."
