Olivier Taillieu, chief trial attorney of The Dominguez Firm, has been nominated for the Trial Lawyer of The Year award by the Consumer Attorneys Association of Los Angeles (CAALA). The organization recognizes distinguished members of the trial bar and top legal talent, who have made significant contributions to protect the civil justice system.

“It’s an honor to be nominated for this sought-after award by such a prestigious organization. Putting our clients first, with passion and hard work, always brings excellent results. Although I’m the one being nominated, this is also for our trial team. Our firm’s efforts are recognized, not only by the good people we help, but also by CAALA. That’s always humbling and encouraging,” said attorney Taillieu.

Attorney Juan J. Dominguez, the CEO and Managing Partner of The Dominguez Firm, congratulated Mr. Taillieu and stated, “I’m proud of Olivier for his continuous dedication and commitment to our firm’s clients. His work is inspiring and indeed worthy of CAALA’s coveted nomination. This is a big honor!”

Taillieu, who has been selected four times to the Southern California Super Lawyers list, has an impressive track record for winning multimillion-dollar verdicts and settlements for victims of catastrophic accidents, who have suffered traumatic brain injuries. One of his highlights includes a $29 million verdict for a TBI injury. Taillieu was also a speaker during CAALA’s 2018 Convention in Vegas, and his article “Proving injury and damages in invisible-injury cases,” about traumatic brain injuries, was featured in the June 2018 issue of Advocate Magazine.

The CAALA Annual Awards are presented each year at the Association's Installation and Awards Dinner. Currently, five awards are presented each year and two other awards are presented when warranted.

The Dominguez Firm has championed the rights of Californians for over thirty years and has recovered over half a billion dollars in settlements and verdicts for accident victims. The firm also represents injured workers and fights for employee rights and equality in the workplace.
