Ms. McPherson has more than 15 years of experience practicing law and trying cases in New Jersey and Pennsylvania. She began her career as an Assistant District Attorney for the City of Philadelphia, where she honed her courtroom skills and successfully tried thousands of cases. In 2004, Ms. McPherson made the decision to go into private practice.

Because of the positive reaction to the message of perseverance in her book, Ms. McPherson travels the country and the world speaking to individuals and groups about how to achieve their personal and professional goals. “I also formed Shevelle McPherson, LLC, where I serve as CEO, Chief Empowerment Officer,” she added. “Through my online platform, Soar2Success Academy, I support and empower motivated professional woman and entrepreneurs in gaining clarity, developing and implementing sound strategies and being held accountable for their actions so they can thrive, not just survive, in their lives and businesses.”
