Ms. Isokawa joins Morrison & Foerster’s Global Private Equity Investments & Buyouts Group and will also work closely with its market-leading Global Mergers & Acquisitions Group, while Mr. Kondracki joins the firm’s premier Emerging Companies and Venture Capital Group (ECVC).

“Jessica and Brad are highly accomplished lawyers. They will play important roles in the continued growth of our already prominent Private Equity, M&A, and ECVC practices in the San Francisco Bay Area,” said Eric McCrath, co-chair of the firm’s Corporate Department. “Jessica and Brad’s arrival underscores our continued commitment to deepening our corporate bench with the most promising talent and experience. It also highlights our intent to further add to our strength in the Bay Area where we have been a leader for many years.”

Ms. Isokawa focuses her practice on M&A transactions and the representation of private equity funds and their portfolio companies in a broad range of corporate matters, including strategic and leveraged acquisitions of public and private company targets, divestitures, venture and growth equity investments, and restructurings. Ms. Isokawa regularly represents clients in transactions covering a variety of industries, including technology, consumer products, and financial services.

“Morrison & Foerster is the premier law firm in the Bay Area and has an impressive cross-border corporate platform,” said Ms. Isokawa. “I look forward to working with my new colleagues to advise clients on their critical legal and business needs, and to help further build the firm’s outstanding Private Equity and M&A practices.”

Mr. Kondracki brings to the firm significant experience working with Silicon Valley private and public companies on a wide range of transactional and counseling matters, including venture capital financings, corporate formation and structuring, mergers and acquisitions, corporate governance, public company disclosure requirements, and SEC compliance matters. Additionally, Mr. Kondracki regularly advises venture capital firms and other institutional investors on private company investments.
