We’ve streamlined what used to be a disjointed process, bringing value and cost savings to clients.

iCONECT Development, LLC (US and Canada), developers of the iCONECT-XERA eDiscovery review software, are unveiling an integration with leading data collection technology from Cleveland-based Heureka Software. This integration caters to the needs of corporations and legal service providers that require remote or local data collection as a component of their document review workflow.
Available immediately, legal service providers, law firms and corporations worldwide can use a combination of Heureka and iCONECT-XERA for end-to-end eDiscovery. By adding Heureka to the iCONECT-XERA workflow, organizations will be able to perform tasks from targeted inventory of enterprise documents (including identification, preservation, collection) to processing, culling and full-featured document review.
The intuitive nature of both platforms eliminates the need to hire forensics collection experts and makes it easy for administrators looking to minimize the cost and hassle of collecting electronic data. Features such as faceted search, data analyics, graphing and mass coding help with Early Case Analysis (ECA), to identify documents that require human review. Once segregated, iCONECT-XERA’s integrated processing module converts the files from raw data to document review in a 3-step wizard.
Clients are asking for self-help tools during the critical ECA stage where using traditional collection tools pose cost and ease-of-use problems. No longer does identification, preservation and collection need to be solely managed by a select few, using specialized tools, fraught with potential technical complications and costly travel.
“We’re continually looking for partnerships that can work in tandem with iCONECT-XERA to enhance the experience of users and administrators. With the introduction of this integration, we’ve streamlined what used to be a disjointed process, bringing value and cost savings to clients,” said Ian Campbell, CEO of iCONECT.
“The challenge around collection is one that many firms struggle with. By integrating Heureka Software’s collection capabilities with iCONECT’s 16+ years of document review knowledge and creativity, we anticipate benefits in time, cost and workflow optimization,” added Nate Latessa, COO at Heureka Software.
