Federal Criminal Attorneys of Michigan Welcomes Kevin Battersby Witenoff

Detroit, Michigan – Federal Criminal Attorneys of Michigan is proud to announce that Attorney Kevin Battersby Witenoff will be joining our firm. Witenoff will be bringing with him a wealth of experience in criminal law and a steadfast commitment to justice.

Witenoff began his legal career at the Wayne County Prosecutor’s Office, where he served as lead attorney on nearly one thousand adult and juvenile felony cases. His extensive experience includes handling complex and high-severity felony cases, such as counterfeiting, carjacking, robbery, and homicide charges. 

Before his tenure at the Prosecutor’s Office, Witenoff focused his studies on fair treatment in the court system, social policy, and juvenile justice. He graduated early from James Madison College at Michigan State University, where he studied sociology and public policy with an emphasis on race, poverty, and the criminal justice system. He then earned his law degree from Vanderbilt Law School, where he was a Dean’s Scholar, a teacher’s assistant, a research assistant, and president of the American Constitution Society. 

At Federal Criminal Attorneys of Michigan, Witenoff will continue his mission to improve client outcomes by providing the highest quality representation.
