“The essays that students submitted were all inspiring and heartfelt. It is amazing that even when our youth face adversity, they fight to rise above and move positively towards the future." -Griff Shuler

This year’s scholarship essay program starts Monday September 18th, and students can begin to submit their essays.
This year’s essay topic is “Powerful Life Experiences That Have Changed Your Life”.
Students will be asked to write an essay about the following: Write about a significant situation in your life that has caused you to change your outlook and/or behavior; one that has impacted your life and caused you to make a personal life change. How has this experience spurred you to help and/or educate others?
Everyone goes through powerful life experiences that can significantly impact an individual’s life. It is how a person deals with a situation that can define who they are, and how they may view the rest of the world, and future decisions.
David Daggett, Partner of Daggett Shuler Law was quoted saying, “All of our entrants demonstrate great potential in leading the next generation by getting involved and making positive change”.
At Daggett Shuler, we understand how a serious situation can impact a family and/or an individual’s life for the better or worse. The Daggett Shuler College Scholarship Essay Program is 100% supported and sponsored by Daggett Shuler Injury law.
The most recent scholarship recipient was Celta V., a liberal arts major attending a university in California. The topic of her essay was on “The Dangers of Drinking and Driving”. Celta described the multiple strategies she would use in order to prevent a loved one from getting behind the wheel intoxicated.
She also touched on some very personal experiences her friends and family went through as a result of a car accident involving an intoxicated driver.
