Holland & Hart is proud to announce that real estate and development partner Becky Dow received the Anthony J. Rechlitz Volunteer of the Year Award by HomeAid Colorado. The annual award recognizes the outstanding volunteer of the year in memory of Anthony J. Rechlitz who was an active member in various charities including HomeAid Colorado, where he served as a board member for 11 years. Becky was presented the award at the 2019 HomeAid Colorado “Building Homes: Rebuilding Lives” breakfast held on April 23.

Becky was recognized for her contributions of providing hundreds of hours of pro bono legal work for the organization, in addition to her active involvement with fund raising events and essentials drives, and serving on the Executive Committee for the last three years. She has been a HomeAid Colorado board member since 2014 and involved with the organization for six years.

Since its inception in 1999, HomeAid Colorado has been working to end homelessness by providing safe, affordable, and dignified housing and providing community outreach for families and individuals experiencing homelessness in our community. HomeAid Colorado has built homes, apartments, facilities, and shelters to give Colorado’s homeless a place to call home and an opportunity to build second chances. HomeAid is a leading national nonprofit provider of housing for today's homeless that operates through local chapters in 18 markets across the country, each working with the local building industry to give back to the community.
